Grant Hounds helps small businesses and nonprofits find and evaluate grant opportunities. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at hello@granthounds.com.
Information we collect
When you request a fit report, we collect the information you enter in our form: your name, email address, organization name, and, if you choose to share them, your phone number and a description of what you want to fund. Your answers to our grant fit check and your resulting score are sent along with your request.
If you become a client, we may ask for more details about your organization, such as its location, mission or industry, size, budget, funding needs, and registration status, so we can find grants that fit. Please share only what's needed for your grant search, and don't send sensitive personal information about individuals.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your request, research and evaluate grant opportunities for your organization, prepare and deliver your fit report, and communicate with you about our services. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with funders or other third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of trusted providers to run Grant Hounds. Cloudflare hosts our website. Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox. Microsoft 365 handles our email. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when you visit. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver their services.
We use AI tools to help research grant opportunities and draft reports. Information about your organization may be processed by those tools as part of that work, and a person reviews every report before it's sent to you.
Cookies and analytics
Our website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure site traffic, we use privacy-focused analytics that don't rely on cookies or track individual visitors across websites.
How long we keep information
We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our services and meet our business and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@granthounds.com. We'll respond as soon as we can.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure connections for our website and form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take care to limit who can access client information.
Children
Our services are for organizations and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above.
